The Rajasthan’s climate can be divided into 4 seasons : summer, monsoon, post-monsoon and winter. The climate in this region is typically dry most of the year. When is the best time to visit Rajasthan, and most particularly the Shekhawati region ?

Winter is the colder season in Rajasthan. The temperatures starts to drop from October, and continues till mid-march. There can be a huge difference of temperatures between the day and the night, and as Shekhawati region is located near the Thar desert, temperatures are known to be the coldest in the region. Sometimes, it could drop as low as 0°C and below.

This period is the best to visit the region as the sun is not as intense and the days are ideal in goal to exploring.
